Is This You?

Who Is This For?

Who This Is For:

  • Your business does $1M or more a year in revenue.
  • The only time anyone looks at your taxes is when the return gets filed each spring.
  • You pay yourself whatever cash is left in the account, with no set split between salary and distributions.
  • The business has grown, but the entity you picked on day one never changed with it.
  • You want to keep your CPA or preparer and add someone who plans the year before it closes.
  • You want legal, documented moves you can stand behind if the IRS ever asks.

This Is Not For:

  • Businesses doing under $1M a year in revenue.
  • Employees with a salary and no business of their own.
  • Anyone who wants to hide income or invent expenses.
  • Owners who only want last year's return filed and nothing planned for this year.

100% Done-For-You

Here's Everything We Do For You

How Matthew Sercely plans your year and gets every change made, start to finish.

We Start With Your Returns

Your recent business and personal returns come to us first, so our first working meeting starts with your real numbers instead of guesses about what the year looks like.

Your Pay And Entity Reviewed

We go through your salary versus your distributions, the entity behind the company, what you spend and what you put toward retirement, because that's where the savings are.

Every Move Walked Through

In a dedicated delivery meeting, Matthew walks you through exactly how the plan lowers your tax bill, so you know every change and why it's worth making.

Changes Made Before December 31st

We get each change in place while the year is still open, so it counts on this year's taxes instead of becoming an idea for next year.

Monthly Meetings, Quarterly Check-Ins

Once the plan is running, we meet every month, go deeper every quarter and answer email in between, so nothing slips while the business keeps changing.

IRS Letters Handled For You

If the IRS ever writes to you, we handle the correspondence. Every move is documented when it's made, so you can stand behind it with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to replace my CPA?+
No. Your CPA or preparer keeps filing your return. Our work happens during the year, before December 31st, so by filing season the decisions are already made and on paper, and the return simply records them.
Is this legal, and will it hold up?+
Yes. Matthew is a licensed attorney, and every move is a choice the tax code already gives owners: how you're paid, which entity fits, what's deductible and how much goes to retirement. Each one is documented when it's made, and if the IRS ever writes to you, we handle the correspondence.
Why an attorney instead of a CPA?+
Matthew has been a licensed attorney in Texas since 2009 and founded Agorist Tax Advice in 2020 to do tax planning. Most CPAs focus on preparing and filing returns after the year is over. Our job is to cut what you owe before that return is ever created.
Is it too late to save anything this year?+
Not yet. Most of this year's big moves, like how the rest of your pay comes out of the business, a company retirement plan or the timing of an equipment purchase, run on a December 31st deadline. A few options carry into filing season, but far fewer, so the sooner we talk the more is still on the table.
How much does it cost?+
The fee isn't published because it depends on how complex your situation and business structure are. You'll get it quoted up front on the call, before you commit to anything.
Who will I actually work with?+
Matthew, start to finish. Every plan is built by Matthew Sercely, so every answer comes from the person who designed your plan.
Do you work with businesses outside Texas?+
Yes. Everything is done remotely over Zoom and email, and the firm works with business owners in all 50 states.
